Shift Checker helps its owner review work-offer emails alongside existing work and family commitments.
This is an information website. Gmail authorisation and shift checking take place separately in the owner's private installation. This website does not connect to your mailbox.
Read the offer
The private app uses Google's Gmail API to retrieve emails matching a configured work-offer sender. It extracts offered dates, times, roles and venues.
See the context
It compares offers with the owner's calendars through Home Assistant, shows relevant calendar events and applies the owner's weekly keep allowance. Family events remain advisory.
Keep the decision yours
Unclear times, unconfirmed leave and missing calendar information are flagged for review. Results can be sent to the owner's phone. Accepting a shift or requesting leave remains a separate decision.
Gmail read-only
The sole requested Google permission is https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly. The app does not request permission to send email, create drafts or modify mailbox contents.
Privacy, before permission
Read the privacy policy for the information accessed, private storage, notifications, retention and revoking access. This personal installation is not a public sign-up service.
